Therapist I: Sunflower Clinical Group

Focus on caring for your clients and yourself at Sunflower Clinical Group!

Sunflower Clinical Group is looking for the next member of our clinical team. We are a progressive in-office and telehealth therapy practice located in downtown Evanston, Illinois. Sunflower strives to provide accessible, effective, evidence-based treatment to diverse populations seeking to reduce mental health symptoms and find increased meaning and purpose in their lives. We serve a diverse community on the North Shore and statewide, via Telehealth, with a specific focus on the university community as well as those who identify as LGBTQ+.

We are seeking a skilled, passionate therapist for a full-time position (25+ clinical hours/week). For this role, we are searching for a provider who carries provisional licensure in the State of Illinois (LSW/LPC). Sunflower provides services both in our Evanston office and statewide via secure Telehealth, so experience and comfort with both of those formats is strongly preferred. Sunflower providers have expertise and experience with the LGBTQ+ community, and also have a passion for working with those in the transitional phase of life between adolescence and adulthood, such as those moving away from home for the first time, starting work, or completing an undergraduate degree. While our clients are working on a variety of challenges, Sunflower has a particular focus on issues of identity development, stress and anxiety management, and ADHD.

Sunflower Clinical Group is building a culture of support, validation, and growth for its employees. Working in the field of mental health can be challenging, and as an employer Sunflower desires to stand out in this field as a clinical group that invests in its employees through good pay, generous benefits, and a supportive and humanistic environment. At Sunflower, billing, marketing, and other administrative tasks are taken care of on your behalf allowing you to focus on work with your clients without having to manage the challenges of health insurance and billing. A generous CEU plan allows clinicians to continue to develop and invest in their expertise, so that whether clinicians are with us for a few years or a few decades, they leave Sunflower with greater expertise, confidence, and training than when they initially joined our team. High quality weekly clinical
supervision is included as part of your compensation up until the point of clinical licensure.

Sunflower therapists are provided with a company laptop and phone plan to allow you to keep boundaries between your work and personal life. After the initial onboarding period, this tech will also enable you to potentially work from home for part of your schedule. Speaking of scheduling, Sunflower will collaborate with you so that you are able to make your own schedule, provided that certain key times are covered. Paid sick and vacation time will also help you keep the balance between time at Sunflower and your life outside of work, and clinicians will be paid for time spent in meetings and completing administrative tasks.

Sunflower is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
