Chief Psychotherapist

Pronouns: He/Him

Jake specializes in trauma-informed, sex-positive, client-centered work with all people, with a particular emphasis on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. He has specific training and experience working with survivors of trauma, as well as those living with depression, anxiety, and those struggling to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives and relationships. Jake also has experience working with clients seeking practical tools to help manage stress, organization, and symptoms of ADHD.

Jake is experienced working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, and is sensitive to a diverse array of sexual expressions and relationships, including polyamory, kink, and open relationships.

Jake approaches his work using tools from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and ACT, all from a trauma-informed perspective.

Prior to founding Sunflower Clinical Group, Jake trained at John H. Anthony Rodriguez, LCPC
Staff Therapist

Pronouns: He/Him

Anthony approaches therapy as a collaborative and open process, working with his clients to set the pace of therapy and working with them to make progress toward reaching their personal and emotional goals. He has specific experience and training working with teens, young adults, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Anthony is trained in evidence-based CBT skills for managing symptoms of ADHD in adults.
